No comic today. Scanner and PC are being mean. Maybe Saturday will have one. Enjoy that "Cadaver!" one, though. I found it funny.

My scanner, of course.

Mom's been messing with the scanner (plugging it in and out of the damn laptop) and so I'm not sure where the cord for it is.

Not good for comic-ing.

In other news, I have FCATs this week. Wait, Emi! What's an "FCAT"? Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. Oh Gods, do they suck. I hate them with a passion. On the good side of that, though, is that Emi will be drawing between sessions and stuff. 'Cause she reads fast (the first is reading) and stuff, and that means she's gonna have extra time. Which means drawing should ensue. Unless they go "omfg ur cheeting" or something ridiculous like that.

However, I'll be trying to post a comic this week or something.

Yes, yes, it's that time of year again!

And SmackJeeves is finally back up! @_@;; Sorry for that long period of absolutely nothing, all. I didn't know that SJ was gonna go down. And since I just found out it was back up, I was unprepared. So I sketched a quick "I Hate Valentine's Day" thing. Because I do. This 'holiday' SUCKS ASS. Bleh. -shudders-

Okay, well, later on I'll have a comic up. ^^

Damn. I thought I had brought my drawing paper with me to school. >_> I hadn't. Screw it...I'll put up a comic or something later tonight.

Now, I want you all to keep something in mind - the most artsy program is Windows Paint. No photoshop or anything like that. Therefor, whenever doing some kind of text effect or anything of the like...it'll be in my handwriting. The front page? It's like a title page. Get over the handwriting being terrifyingly difficult to read and sideways.

Anyways...expect a comic or something of the like in around two hours or so.

First comic rant! W00t! The update schedule is (hopefully) going to be every Tuesday/Saturday. I have to boot my PC up to scan in the comics and I'd rather not do that every...bloody...day. -shudders- I'm spoiled with mom's laptop now. ^^

So, what is the comic about?

Malcontent takes place at a boarding school for villianesses. You probably won't see many guys for a while. -shrugs- I have no name for the school yet.
The students of the school are of every race and species. Pixies. Demons. Faeries. Humans. Elves. Even an Angel or two can be found there. Most of the comics will just be like snapshots of everyday life at the school...I'm not much at doing panels.
The main character of the story is a Pixie by the name of Tala, whose Element of power is electricity...which shows in her temper. Other characters include an Elf named Kirra, a Vampire named Adrianne, and a Werecat named Silva. Other misfits are in the group of theirs, and the story follows around them.

And, that is the story of Malcontent in a nutshell. Completely random, yes, which happens to be the beauty of it!

Before anyone starts going "LAWLZOMFG ITZ 2 SKETCHIE"...I know. It's my style. I don't like to have it perfectly inked. I like the sketchy look. Get over it.
